For a ugly building the Oculus has a beautiful way of shaping the light.
As touristy as it gets at the Oculus this is still probably one of my favorite spots to get shots on a sunny day. The light dances around the follow throughout the day.
For the amount people the trains shuffle back and forth between New York and New Jersey, the Port Authority’s Path Trains are the cleanest modes of transport you can get in the New York area. Also I actually really like the framing of this shot.
Shot from a Friday morning walkabout with Lorenzo Mitil who was out shooting some Cinestill BwXX around the Financial District in Lower Manhattan. Side note check out the Oculus during the morning rush hour, it’s like watching an episode of Planet Earth the only thing missing is Sir David Attenborough narrating.
People do love theirs selfies. That’s All…
Let start off by saying I hate areas where large amount of tourist are hanging out even when I go visit somewhere that I have never been before I try to avoid those areas, but there is something about the light the comes into the Oculus that keeps bring back.
